LYDIA KO
Lydia Ko 's story is closely linked to that of The Evian. After finishing second in 2013, Lydia, then the world's youngest No. 1, won her first major on the shores of Lake Geneva in 2015.
She followed this up in 2016 with another major victory at the ANA Inspiration, then a silver medal at the Rio Olympics. She continued her Olympic success story by winning bronze in Tokyo in 2020, then gold in Paris in 2024, becoming the only player to win three Olympic medals at the age of 27.
A few weeks after her victory in Paris, Lydia Ko won her third major, The Open, on the legendary Old Course at St Andrews.
